It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like… A Great Ski Season

As I sit here and listen to Christmas tunes, particularly, It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas, all I can think about is what an incredible start we have had to our ski season this year. After last weekends storm, Park City Mountain has 33″ at the summit and Deer Valley Resort has 24″ at the summit.

Deer Valley has undergone it’s largest capital improvement project in over a decade, which will have it’s debut this Saturday, December 8, opening day for the 2018-2019 season. The $8.1 M in improvements include the replacement of the Homestake chairlift with a new detachable high-speed quad as well as enhancing snow making systems. Deer Valley never disappoints, it’s the “Deer Valley Difference”. Park City Resort also reports several improvements for this ski season. The existing High Meadow lift at Canyons Village was replaced with a high-speed, four passenger lift, shortening the overall ride time by seventy percent. Mid-Mounain Lodge Restaurant and Cloud Dine have both had improvements and the addition of 200 seats. Park City Mountain Village and Canyons Village celebrate Snowfest from December 16-31. Check out the schedule of events here Snowfest – 2018. There will be live music, ice sculptures, and s’mores roasting daily.
